Live in a place that makes you smile.
The smallest spaces with the most constraints are my favorite to reimagine.
This powder room is small - so small that a corner hand-washing basin was the best space-saving solution. The high ceiling and window help bounce natural light around the little room, allowing it to feel cozy but not cramped. The sage green walls served their purpose for nearly 20 years but we were ready to make it livelier and add an element of surprise and delight.

The finished powder room: Fornasetti wallpaper (Colonial Wallcoverings); new shaving mirror (Internet); new Roman shade (The Shade Store); new soap dish (Etsy). Upgrades include: fresh coat of white paint; privacy film on the window; combined dimmer switch, fan, and a duplex to one wall plate.

Testing out the location of the new ornamental soap dish.

The before color, wall repairs, and electrical upgrades.

Applying a matte protective sealer. This sealer will prevent bleach marks from cleaning and splashes at the sink, ensuring a long lasting (blemish-free) wall treatment.
